Engagement Stages
Consulting only works when both sides know what happens each week. This page maps the stages we use for the flagship UX & Maintainability Review and notes how lighter consultations compress the same arc.
Stage 1 — Intake
You send a short brief: product type, OS targets, the decision hanging over the team, and any hard dates. We confirm whether a review, walkthrough, or change-risk briefing is the right fit. No deposit is taken until fit is clear.
Stage 2 — Access & ground rules
We agree how builds, recordings, and repositories will be shared. You keep credentials inside your systems; we work through accounts you provision. NDA language can ride on your paper or ours under Thai governing law as set in our Terms.
Stage 3 — Observation
Walkthroughs happen with operators or with recordings you approve. We annotate hesitation, error recovery, and places where the UI forces memory work that should live in the product.
Stage 4 — Code sampling
In parallel, we read the modules that power those flows. Sampling is purposeful, not a full audit of every package. The goal is to explain why a friction point resists a quick fix.
Stage 5 — Draft & correction
You receive a draft for factual correction — wrong module names, outdated screenshots, misunderstood release constraints. This is not a negotiation to soften rankings; it is a check for accuracy.
Stage 6 — Findings workshop
A live session with product and engineering leads. We walk the ranked list, answer challenges, and leave with agreed next experiments owned by your team.
Stage 7 — Close
Final PDF, invoice for the balance, and optional scheduling of follow-on advisory hours if you want a sounding board during implementation. We do not attach ourselves to your issue tracker unless you commission that separately.
