Codebase Change-Risk Briefing
A maintainability-focused briefing for teams debating a rewrite, framework upgrade, or UI kit migration in a desktop client.
Purpose
Rewrites fail when the pain is real but the blast radius is underestimated. This briefing inspects the UI and adjacent layers of your desktop client and answers: what can be improved in place, what should be isolated first, and what a rewrite would actually touch.
Deliverable
A concise briefing document (typically 8–12 pages) plus a 60-minute Q&A with your architects. We reference concrete modules and files you grant access to — not abstract architecture slogans.
Boundaries
We do not produce a new architecture document for the whole product, and we do not select vendors or frameworks for you. We pressure-test the risks of the options you are already considering.
Next step
Describe the migration or rewrite under debate on the Contact form. Include repository access constraints early so we can confirm feasibility.
